The following are sounds from preserved step by step switches by Phil McCarter, a private collector in Eugene, Oregon. Until mid-2025, these switches were connected to the Collector’s Network (C-Net) and were dialable from that network or via a gateway. Phil had expressed a desire to donate the collection to the Connections Museum since he plans on “retiring” from the hobby. These switches are planned to be removed from his house and reassembled at the new Connections Museum in Denver, Colorado sometime in 2025 or later. These recordings were made in April 2025.
