In May of 2024, telephone collector Evan Stewart had obtained an 804C tone plant from a Number 5 Crossbar (#5XB) telephone switch. This makes the classic “sound” of a Number 5 Crossbar with ring, busy signal, and reorder. These were made over the Collector’s network (C-Net) using an Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) via the Internet.
