March 27, 2026 – In March/April 2025 (a year ago from this entry), there were a number of news articles that AT&T were selling wireline assets in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (or just the “UP”) to a company called UP Fiber. Supposedly by this time in 2026 the deal was to be completed.
I can’t find anything saying that the deal actually went through and the wireline assets of around 40 ratecenters transferred to UP Fiber.
